Founded in the 1960s by Dick Baker, Baker Racing began as a passion project rooted in historic sports car racing and quickly grew into one of the most recognizable names in vintage motorsport across North America. Dick played a pivotal role in organizing, promoting, and preserving historic racing in Canada — co-founding the Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada (VARAC) and serving on the board of the SVRA. His lifelong dedication to the sport earned him a place in the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2002. Today, Baker Racing continues his legacy, honouring its roots while competing in both historic and modern racing disciplines.

Led by Eric VanBibber and Tom Brown, MLT brings a wealth of experience in high-performance motorsport operations, offering critical support across engineering, pitlane management, race strategy and operational leadership.

MLT Motorsports fields their own competitive programs in IMSA, including entries in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge LMP3 class and in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series.

With a focus on driver development and professional-grade team execution, they’ve become a respected name in the North American endurance racing scene.
