Crew Chief @tsspeeds walks through yesterday’s fuel drop process, a critical part of every race weekend. ⛽️

Just like on track, every tenth of a second matters when the party starts in pit lane. Our fuelers @dre.studios (No. 56) and @chelsea.giffin (No. 52) have to ensure every drop of fuel is calculated and perfectly timed to maximize efficiency and avoid penalty infractions.

A familiar face within the Baker Racing program, Kenny supported the team in crew roles at multiple events last season. Behind the wheel he’s is coming off back-to-back championship seasons in the @felmotorsports Radical Cup Canada!

Both the 52 and 56 crews fought for pace all weekend. Come race day both cars we’re moving up the field. The 52 had its day ended 15 minutes into the race after contact from a competitor left terminal rear suspension damage. The 56 remained competitive and was set for a late race push when another pesky fuel pump sent them to pit lane.

Despite being our most challenging weekend to date, each and every team member kept digging and never let up. For that we will always be grateful.

Next month we make our debut at the famous @indianapolismotorspeedway! 🧱

Meet one of the most important members of Baker Racing — Ron McAdam.
The man. The myth. The hauler hero.
Drives the rig across North America, crushes it on lollipop duty in pit lane, and works nonstop under the awning to keep this team rolling.💪

After qualifying on Saturday, Ron had to make an unexpected trip to Toronto hospital, where he was diagnosed with a detached retina. It left a big hole in our squad and shifted our focus away from the track. Heading into the race, we became more determined than ever to bring home a trophy and hand-deliver it to him.

Things didn’t go our way on track, but when Ron showed up to the team afterparty, it made everyone’s day.
Legend. 🥃

He had surgery on Monday and is now on the road to recovery. We know he’ll be back soon — with a whiskey in hand (at the hotel), some rest under his belt and the open road ahead of him.

Ron, you’re an instrumental part of this team — from the hard work to the hard laughter, Baker Racing wouldn’t be the same without you. Can’t wait to welcome you back.

After engine replacement, gearbox concerns, and our 52 qualifying second row, the gents pushed hard to maintain pace for 3/4 of the race, but for both the 56 and 52 cars, a fuel pump failure stole it away from us once again.

This team deserves it more than any other and after endless late nights, early mornings, countless practices and strategic improvements… Heartbreaking beyond words.

It is always darkest before the dawn and we are just being primed to get faster, stronger, and more humble for the moment we can stand on that step and prove to a nation we truly have the best team.

Time to bring it home… 🇨🇦🍁
